Knowing that surgery was around the corner for Matt, we made one more trip to the mountains for skiing. Ken, never one to pass up an opportunity to ski, flew up to join us. We headed out early and, after the routine stop at Blue Moon Bakery for breakfast, made our way to Breckenridge. We're not sure if it was because spring break was over for most people or because there wasn't fresh powder or because it was Rockies home opener weekend, but there were no lines for any of the lifts. We skied as many runs by 11:30am than we usually do by 1:30pm. It was really fun! We skied all of Breck - starting at blacks on peak 10 to a blueish black on peak 6 and all the peaks in between. Great last day of skiing for the season!!
